Felix Valentin was arrested in connection to a murder that occurred at approx. 11:45 pm on April 2nd, 2016. Valentin was charged after he was identified as the offender responsible for firing the fatal gunshot that struck a 51 year old male victim as he worked at a tavern on the 3600 block of North Pulaski Rd. North Side Man Charged in Fatal Hit and Run
29FEB16Fajardo,FelixFajardo was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal hit and run that occurred on the 3200 block of N. Milwaukee Ave. on February 21, 2016 at approximately 5:20 a.m. Fajardo was the driver of a white SUV and was traveling Northwest on Milwaukee when he struck a 34 year old male that was crossing the street at the intersection. Business Alert – 17th District Robberies of Pizza Delivery Drivers (P16-N-039)
There have been four recent robberies of pizza delivery drivers in the 17th District. In each of these cases a food order was placed, but when the driver arrived to make the delivery multiple offenders approached him, displayed a weapon, and took the driver’s wallet, phone, and food order. In one case, the offender displayed a handgun. In all of the cases, at least one offender was armed with a knife. Click here for more info

South Side Man Charged in 2015 Murder
South Side Man Charged with Homicide, Arrington,Donald Arrington was arrested after he was identified as the person who bludgeoned and killed a 50 year old man. This incident occurred in the 3900 block of N. Spaulding Ave. on August 31, 2015; at approximately 11:00 a.m. Arrington fatally struck the victim with a blunt object during an altercation and set the victim ablaze before fleeing the scene. There have been three recent Commercial Robberies in the 17th and 20th Districts. In these cases, two offenders or three offenders entered the business, displayed a blue steel handgun and demanded money from the register.
