South Side Man Charged with Homicide, Arrington,DonaldArrington was arrested after he was identified as the person who bludgeoned and killed a 50 year old man. This incident occurred in the 3900 block of N. Spaulding Ave. on August 31, 2015; at approximately 11:00 a.m. Arrington fatally struck the victim with a blunt object during an altercation and set the victim ablaze before fleeing the scene. Personal property belonging to the victim was taken along with his vehicle which was later recovered in a Northern suburb.   During the course of the investigation, information was gathered identifying Arrington as the wanted offender. Arrington was apprehended and placed into custody in the 1500 block of E. 72^nd Pl. on January, 27 2016 and was charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.
