Business Alert – 22nd District – Robbery of Delivery Drivers (P15-2-123)
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 22nd (Morgan Park)District) of Robbery incidents that occurred in the Morgan Park neighborhood. In these incidents, offenders ordered food to be delivered to the area of 10700 S. Loomis. Two incidents occurred in September where drivers were assaulted by a group of offenders armed with 2X4 pieces of wood. Community Alert – 4th District – Robbery (P15-2-119)
This alert gives notice to residents of the South Chicago (004th) District of two recent robbery incident involving similar circumstances. In each incident, the victims were approached by two offenders. One offender then proceeds to make an inquiry about the victim’s phone, either asking to use it or if he is in possession of one. The offenders then announce the robbery and proceed to relieve the victims of their cellular phones. In both incidents, firearms were either displayed or implied.…

Community Alert – 4th District – Commercial Robberies (P15-2-120)
This alert gives notice to residents of the South Chicago (4th) District of two robberies both of which occurred inside a chain restaurant. In each incident, the offender(s) entered the location and approached the counter as if attempting to make a purchase. Once the register was opened, the offenders attempted to remove money from the register. The offenders were only successful once in their efforts. For More Information Click Here

Lansing Man Charged in the Homicide of 9-Year-Old Boy

West Pullman Man Charged in Domestic Related Shooting
Tarell Smith,28 was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot a 23 year old female on October 29, 2015 at approximately 3:05 a.m. in the 12000 block of S. Perry Avenue. Smith was involved in a domestic related altercation with the mother of his children, when he shot her with a handgun. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was transported in stable condition to Christ Hospital. Smith was arrested and charged accordingly. Click…

Business Alert – 22nd District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-2-116)
This alert gives notice to businesses in the Morgan Park (22nd) District of three recent Burglaries to Businesses that occurred in the Beverly neighborhood. In these incidents, an offender used a pry tool to force his way into businesses on Western Avenue between the 10400 and 10600 blocks. The offender emptied cash registers and searched the property for cash. The burglaries occurred around midnight. Click here for more information

This alert gives notice to citizens of the Morgan Park District (22nd District) of four recent burglaries reported on Beat 2222 involving a similarly described offender. In each incident, the suspect either attempted or made forced entry into the location. Once inside, the offender either removed property or menaced the occupants of the location.
