Third Suspect Charged in Tyshawn Lee’s Murder
Edwards was arrested on May 14, 2016 by the Danville Police Department after a traffic stop revealed the offender had an active murder warrant originating in Chicago. Kevin Edwards, Dwight Boone-Doty, and Corey Morgan are charged with luring nine year old Tyshawn Lee into an alley and executing him in the 8000 Block of South Damen on November 2, 2016. With all three offenders facing felony charges, the case is now closed. No further information is available at this time.…

Woman Charged in Domestic Related Homicide
Cannon was arrested in connection to a domestic-related murder that occurred in the 8000 block of S. Ingleside on April 19, 2016 at approximately 2:35 a.m. During an argument, Cannon stabbed her 37 year–old husband in the neck with a knife. The victim was transported to Northwestern hospital where he was subsequently pronounced. Cannon was arrested on the scene and charged accordingly. No further details are available at this time. Auburn Gresham Man Charged in Shooting
Rudy Williams, 34 was arrested after being identified as the man who was involved in a shooting incident on the 1200 block of E. 87th Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. on April 6, 2016 during which a 29-year-old male was shot in the left wrist. Williams and another man became involved in an argument with the victim after they were denied entry into the club. Shortly thereafter, Williams returned with a handgun and shot the victim. Avalon Park Man Arrested in Search Warrant
Robert C. Bearden III was arrested after a search warrant of his residence revealed 55 cannabis plants, a large quantity of loose cannabis, along with equipment used in manufacturing, processing and packaging cannabis.
