Community Alert – 25th District – Robbery (P15-N-170)
In two cases, an offender on a bicycle approaches a victim, displays a dark colored handgun, and demands property. In the third case, the offender was on foot when he displayed a dark colored handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The offender takes cell phones, wallets, money and jewelry. Business Alert – 16th & 25th Districts – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-171)
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 16th and 25th Districts of a pattern of burglaries being committed. Community Alert – 15th District – Robberies (P15-N-168)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of July 2015. In these incidents unknown offender(s) answers ads for sale of electronic items on Facebook or Craigslist. Offenders then set up a meet with victims and rob them of their property. Community Alert – 20th District – Strong Armed Robberies (P15-N-164)
This alert gives notice to residents of the 20th District (Lincoln) of three Robberies occurring at the end of June and beginning of July 2015. In each of the Robberies, the offender(s) approached the victims from behind, knocking them to the ground before taking the victims’ jewelry and wallets. Community Alert – 14th District – Attempted Kidnapping (HY338596)
On July 13, 2015, at approximately 7:20 a.m., two juveniles, a female and a male, were walking on the 3000 Block of North Francisco when an unknown male grabbed the female juvenile and dragged her towards a parked white van, which had the rear doors open. This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two Armed Robberies that occurred on July 09, 2015. In the first incident, the victim was seated in her parked vehicle and the offender approached and displayed a handgun and demanded her wallet.
