Community Alert – 11th District – Robbery (P15-N-158)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two recent robberies. In the first incident, the victim was walking and the offender approached from behind and grabbed the victim’s purse. The offender also asked for the victim’s jewelry and struck her with a closed fist and took her necklace and earrings. In the second incident, the victim was waiting at a bus stop and the offender grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground.…

Community Alert – 17th District – Wanted for Burglary (P15-N-155)
17thDist Burglaries _P15-N-155_CA_Four recent Burglary related incidents have occurred in the 17th District. In these cases, an unknown offender enters the victim’s residence through an unlocked window or door. The offender has taken TVs, clothes, jewelry, cash, laptops, and small electronics.

Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robberies (P15-N-149)
14th district Armed Robberies P15-N-149 Armed Robberies in which the offender is targeting small retail stores and restaurants have occurred in the 14th District. Offender robs small retail store or restaurant at gunpoint, and is seen carrying a black backpack. He retrieves a black or blue-steel pistol from his backpack or from his waistband. The offender flees on foot, and was sighted fleeing down the Blue Line subway stairs at Division and Milwaukee from the robbery on June 23, 2015.

North Side Man Charged in Fatal Stabbing
Ross Feiwell, 58 was arrested in connection to a stabbing that occurred on June 14, 2015, at approx. 9:45 pm on the 4400 Block of N. Broadway Ave. During a verbal altercation with a 49 year old male, Feiwell produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck. Feiwell was subsequently taken into custody after he was positively identified as the offender. The victim was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he was pronounced. Click here for more…

Community Alert – 17th District – Robberies (P15-N-140)
Two armed robberies have occurred in the 17th District on beat 1724. In the first incident, three offenders approach a victim in the alley, demand money, display a handgun, point it to the victim’s head and take the victim’s cell phone and money. In the second incident, a single offender is in the alley, acting as though he needs help. As the victim approaches, the offender strikes him in the head with a handgun and takes the victim’s money.
