South Side Man Charged with UUW at Lakefront
Lopez was arrested by Officers when he was observed throwing a handgun into Lake Michigan on June 12th, 2016 on the 1400 block of S. Four Charged in Garfield Ridge Stabbing/Armed Robbery
All offenders were placed into custody and charged as the individuals involved in the armed robbery on the 6900 blk of W. Archer Ave. at approximately 10:02 p.m. on June 04, 2016. In this incident offenders attempted to take the victim’s cell phone; when the victim refused to give up her cell phone an offender stabbed her in the abdomen. This alert gives notice to residents in the 2nd District (Wentworth) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of May 2016. In these incidents, two offenders approached the victims, produced a handgun and demanded personal property before fleeing the area. In both instances, offenders threatened to shoot the victims. Second Offender Charged in Robbery Attempt That Led to Fatal Crash on Lake Shore Drive
The above offender has been charged in connection to a robbery attempt that occurred in the 600 Block of N. Lake Shore Drive on May 29, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Dodd approached the victims, a 32-years-old female and a 43-year-old male, and announced a robbery. Juvenile Charged in Bridgeport Murder
Male juvenile was arrested after it was learned that he pointed a firearm at the juvenile victim and fired the weapon this occurred on the 3500 block of S. Parnell Ave. on June 3, 2016 at approximately 11:37 a.m. A 16 year old male victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest, and was pronounced on scene.
