Three Charged in Stabbing of Homeless Man in South Loop
Officers responded to a call of battery in progress on November 21, 2016 at 9:10pm in the 300 Block of S. Michigan Ave. Officers observed three offenders battering a male victim, 57 years old. The officers intervened and learned the three offenders had stolen the victim’s book bag and then stabbed the victim with a cutting instrument. South Side Man Charged with UUW at Lakefront
Lopez was arrested by Officers when he was observed throwing a handgun into Lake Michigan on June 12th, 2016 on the 1400 block of S. A Robbery occurred on Mar 29th, 2016 at approximately 08:58am on the Redline train, North Bound, from State St. stop. Ashburn Man Charged in String of Boost Mobile Robberies
Dionte Smith, 21 was identified through latent prints and victim identification in three armed robberies of Boost Mobile stores. These incidents occurred in the 5100 block of S. Kedzie Ave. on March 31, 2016 at 12:50 p.m.; 6400 block of S. Pulaski Ave., on March 31, 2016 at 8:50 p.m.; and the 6600 block of S.
