A 43 year old female was attacked by an unknown male offender while she was exercising along a walking path near 1755 N. Community Alert – 18th District – Robberies (P15-1-217)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 18th District (Near North) of an increase in Robbery related incidents during the month of September 2015. In these incidents, two male black offenders approach a victim on the street (waiting for their rideshare) and invite victim into their vehicle. Community Alert – 18th District – Public Indecency (HY409523)
On 03 September, 2015 at approximately 6:45 am and 7:45 pm, in the 1900 block of Bissell an unknown male white was observed sitting on a bench exposing himself to the victim. The female adult victim then left the area and notified police. Click here for more information on the Community Alert

Community Alert – 1th & 18th Districts – Robbery (P15-1-189)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 1st (Central) and 18th (Near North) Districts of robbery related incidents during the month of August 2015. Offenders were driving a newer model, small hatchback, black or dark blue in color. The driver was wearing a white shirt in both incidents. Offenders displayed a black handgun in both incidents. North Side Man Charged with Criminal Sexual Assault
Isidrio Valverde was arrested and charged after being identified by victim as the person who sexually assaulted her on 20 Aug 15 on the 900 block of W. Belden. During the course of arrest Valverde intentionally struck an arresting officer with his vehicle in an attempt to defeat the arrest. Chicago Lawn Man Charged with Additional Robberies
Jaleel Johnson,19 appeared on court on May 19, 2015 and charged in a robbery of a 21 year old female. The continued investigation by Detectives in Area Central resulted in Johnson being identified in 5 other incidents. These incidents occurred in the 012th and 018th Districts with dates ranging from 07 March 2015 to 16 May 2015. No further information is available at this time. Click here for more information

Business Alert – 14th, 19th & 25th Districts – Retail Store Robberies (P15-N-004)
About the Crime: There have been three incidents where retail stores have been the victim of a robbery by an offender armed with a knife. The offender enters a business and acts as if he is making a purchase. Once at the sales counter the offender displays a knife and demands money. West Side Man and Two Juveniles Charged in Vehicular Hijacking
Charges for Brown,Jawanza and Two Juveniles_Veh Hijacking_Brown and the two juvenile offenders were placed in custody after being identified in connection to a vehicular hijacking that occurred on the 1800 block of N.
