This alert gives notice to residents in the 18th District (Near North) of an increase in Robbery related incidents during the month of September 2015. In these incidents, two male black offenders approach a victim on the street (waiting for their rideshare) and invite victim into their vehicle. Offenders proceed to intimidate victims and demand / take debit cards and PIN info.
