Chicago Lawn Man Charged with Crashing Vehicle into Government Facility
Jaime Santillan Jr. was arrested after he was identified as the person who drove his vehicle through the main security gate of a government facility and remained on the premises. This incident occurred on March 13, 2016 at approximately 5:00 a.m. on the 500 block of N. Streeter Drive. Santillan was taken into custody and has been charged accordingly. Third Man Charged in October 2015 Armed Robbery
Daniel Morales was arrested after he was identified as one of three offenders that robbed a 27 year old male and a 26 year old female at knife point. This incident occurred on October 24, 2015 in the 1100 block of N. Lake Shore Drive at approximately 11:50 p.m. Click here for more info

Community Alert – 18th District – Wanted for Murder (HX500434)
Detectives are seeking to identify and interview the pictured subjects for the First Degree Murder which occurred on the 800 block of N. Orleans in Chicago on November 9, 2014 at approximately 2:24 A.M. The victim was stabbed multiple times at that location and died shortly after being transported to Northwestern Hospital. Mayor Emanuel, Superintendent McCarthy Launch Police Recruitment Campaign
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Superintendent Garry McCarthy today announced that the City is accepting applications to join the Chicago Police Department for the first time since 2013. The starting salary for Chicago police officers is $47,604 and increases to $72,510 after eighteen months of employment. The application period is now open, and will close at the end of the day on Wednesday December 16, 2015. A written exam will be administered in February 2016 to those who apply.
