Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robbery & Kidnapping (P15-N-236)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 014th District (Shakespeare) of two robbery incidents that occurred recently. In the first incident male black and female black offenders approached a female victim and robbed her at gunpoint. Offenders then took her in their vehicle to various locations to withdraw money from ATMs. In the second incident offenders robbed the female victim and attempted to take her into their car without success. Community Alert – 14th, 17th & 25th Districts – Robberies (P15-N-227)
There have been three related Robberies in the 14th, 17th, and 25th Districts. In these cases, one male and one female offender approach the victims, display a silver colored handgun and demand property. In one case, the offenders fire the weapon, which is actually a BB gun, striking the victim in the eye. The offenders flee in a Black Honda Coupe, driven by a third offender. On September 20, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male offender exposed himself from the alley to a female victim while she was with her 3- year-old daughter in a park located in the 2800 block of N. Avondale Avenue. Click her for more information on the Community Alert

Business Alert – 14th & 25th Districts – Armed Robberies (P15-N-206)
Armed Robberies inside convenience stores have occurred in the 14th and 25th Districts. The offender entered the convenience store, announced a robbery, and displayed a handgun. The offender then took money from the register. Click here for more information on the Business Alert

Community Alert – 14th District – Attempted Robbery (P15-N-189)
Robberies in which a group of several offenders attempt to rob their victims are occurring in the 14th District. In two cases a female offender attempts to grab the victim’s cell phone by force and demands the victim surrender it, while the male offenders surround the victim. Community Alert – 14th District – Robberies (P15-N-183)
Robberies in which a group of several offenders rob their victims (sometimes showing a firearm) are occurring in the 014th District. The offenders are a group of four men, one male white Hispanic and three male blacks, who approach the victim, ask if he “gang-bangs,” then, in one of the instances, robs him at gunpoint. Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robberies (P15-N-179)
Armed Robberies in which several offenders rob their victims at gunpoint have occurred in the 14th District (Shakespeare). The offenders exit a small red or dark-colored sedan, brandish handguns, and announce a robbery, demanding cell phones and pass codes for the cell phones. Community Alert – 14th District – Attempted Kidnapping (HY338596)
On July 13, 2015, at approximately 7:20 a.m., two juveniles, a female and a male, were walking on the 3000 Block of North Francisco when an unknown male grabbed the female juvenile and dragged her towards a parked white van, which had the rear doors open. Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robberies (P15-N-149)
14th district Armed Robberies P15-N-149 Armed Robberies in which the offender is targeting small retail stores and restaurants have occurred in the 14th District. Offender robs small retail store or restaurant at gunpoint, and is seen carrying a black backpack. He retrieves a black or blue-steel pistol from his backpack or from his waistband. The offender flees on foot, and was sighted fleeing down the Blue Line subway stairs at Division and Milwaukee from the robbery on June 23, 2015.

North Side Man Charged in Police Involved Shooting Incident in the 1700 block of N. Talman
Rafael Corona was arrested after pointing a handgun at a Chicago Police Officer who was responding to a call of a gang disturbance on the 1700 block of North Talman Ave, at approx. 12:05 am on June 7th, 2015. Click here for more information regarding this arrest
