This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 014th District (Shakespeare) of two robbery incidents that occurred recently. In these cases, one male and one female offender approach the victims, display a silver colored handgun and demand property. 14th district Armed Robberies P15-N-149 Armed Robberies in which the offender is targeting small retail stores and restaurants have occurred in the 14th District. Offender robs small retail store or restaurant at gunpoint, and is seen carrying a black backpack. He retrieves a black or blue-steel pistol from his backpack or from his waistband. The offender flees on foot, and was sighted fleeing down the Blue Line subway stairs at Division and Milwaukee from the robbery on June 23, 2015.
