Roadside Safety Check – 11th (Harrison) District
26Jan17 RSC The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Harrison (11th) District at 4525 W. Madison. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017. During roadside safety checks, police officers slow down traffic, stop cars at regular intervals and watch for drivers who show signs of alcohol impairment and other violations as noted below. This alert gives notice of Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 11th District. In all of the incidents, multiple male black offenders approached the victims with masks covering their faces, displayed handguns, and then took the victims’ personal property. This alert gives notice of three Vehicular Hijackings that have occurred in the 11th District in the month of January 2017. In all of these incidents, the offender approached and ordered the victim to exit their automobile before fleeing the scene in the victim’s vehicle. Community Alert – 11th District -Armed Robberies (P17-N-001)
This alert gives notice of Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 11th District in the month of December 2016. In all three incidents, the victims utilized social media to arrange to purchase a video game system. Upon arriving to buy the video game system, the offenders displayed a handgun and took the victims’ cell phones and money. Click Here for More Information

This alert gives notice of Robberies that have occurred in the 11th District during the month of November 2016. During these incidents, the offender took a purse from the victim at a CTA bus stop. Community Alert – 11th District – Armed Robberies (P16-N-189)
This alert gives notice of two Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 11th District on Beat 1114. In both incidents, the victims utilized a cell phone app to arrange to meet individuals for the purpose of buying a cell phone. Upon arrival, the offenders entered the victims’ vehicles, displayed a handgun and took property from the victims including phones, money and a laptop computer. For More Information Click Here
