This alert gives notice of two Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 11th District on Beat 1114. In both incidents, the victims utilized a cell phone app to arrange to meet individuals for the purpose of buying a cell phone. Upon arrival, the offenders entered the victims’ vehicles, displayed a handgun and took property from the victims including phones, money and a laptop computer.
