Community Alert – 7th District – Burglary (P15-2-096)
This alert gives notice that numerous residential burglaries have been reported on Beat 732. Entry is gained through a window or rear / front door(s) by force and various household items are taken. Places of worship have also been targeted, in that the alarm system wiring was cut in one incident and an industrial size air conditioning unit was taken in a separate incident. Community Alert – 4th District – Armed Robberies (P15-2-098)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 4th District (South Chicago) of two armed robberies reported on Beat 432 involving a similarly described offender. In each incident, the victims were approached by the offender displayed a firearm, demanding money and other property. Following the robbery, the offender was observed relocating to a maroon colored vehicle occupied by several other individuals and fleeing the scene in it. Community Alert – 4th District – Armed Robberies (P15-2-099)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 4th District (South Chicago) of three armed robberies reported on Beats 432 and 433 involving similarly described offenders. In these incidents, the victims were approached by the offenders, one of whom was armed with a firearm. A demand was then made for the victim’s property which they then relinquished. Community Alert – 4th District – Armed Robberies (P15-2-097)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 4th District (South Chicago) of two armed robberies reported on Beat 431 involving a masked offender. In these incidents, the victims were approached by the offender who proceeded to produce a firearm and demand property. Community Alert – 18th District – Robberies (P15-1-217)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 18th District (Near North) of an increase in Robbery related incidents during the month of September 2015. In these incidents, two male black offenders approach a victim on the street (waiting for their rideshare) and invite victim into their vehicle. Community Alert – 4th District – Attempted Kidnapping/Child Abduction (HY425451)
On September 16, 2015 at approximately 8:40 a.m., a juvenile victim was approached by a male offender in the vicinity of the 9400 block of South Stony Island Ave., while waiting for the bus.
