This alert gives notice to residents in the 4th District (South Chicago) of two armed robberies reported on Beat 431 involving a masked offender. In these incidents, the victims were approached by the offender who proceeded to produce a firearm and demand property. The offender attempted to conceal his identity by masking the lower half of his face.
