This alert gives notice to residents in the 11th District (Harrison) of Residential Burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of October and November 2015. In these incidents, an offender used force to enter residences, and once inside took Televisions, computers, United States Currency, jewelry/precious metals, and personal items. This alert gives notice to residents in the 11th District (Harrison) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of October 2015. In these incidents, an offender(s) used force and the threat of force by displaying a handgun (revolver), and taking cell phones, and USC from citizens on the street. Click here for more information

Community Alert – Major Accidents, 4th District – Hit & Run (HY457060)
On October 10, 2015, at 5:37 P.M., a pedestrian was seriously injured while she was walking on the sidewalk on the 2900 block of East 95th Street. The victim was struck by someone operating a motorized scooter which was illegally driving on the sidewalk. The victim sustained serious injuries resulting in her hospitalization. The driver of the motorized scooter fled the scene after the incident. Click here for more info

Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Kidnapping/Child Abduction (P15-1-249)
On November 3, 2015, at approximately 3:45 pm on the 7900 block of South Talman, a female juvenile was walking home from school when an unknown male offender grabbed the victim by the shoulder and pulled her backward. The victim bit the offender on the hand and he released her. The victim fled the scene to her residence and the offender fled southbound on Talman. Community Alert – 16th District – Vehicle Thefts: Ford/Chevy Cargo Vans (P15-N-249)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several vehicle thefts in which the offender(s) is targeting Ford and Chevy Cargo Vans. Community Alert – 22nd District – Burglary/Home Invasions (P15-2-115)
This alert gives notice to citizens of the Morgan Park District (22nd District) of four recent burglaries reported on Beat 2222 involving a similarly described offender. In each incident, the suspect either attempted or made forced entry into the location. Once inside, the offender either removed property or menaced the occupants of the location. Community Alert – 1st District – Robbery (P15-1-247)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 1st District (Central) of robbery related incidents during the month of November 2015. Three to four teenage offenders have hidden under or near the train viaduct, and approached guests on the sidewalk as they returned to their hotel.
