Community Alert – 16th District – Attempted Child Abduction (HY479089)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of an incident involving a 16-year-old female who was walking home from school when she observed the listed offender exit a black pick-up truck. The offender approached her, said “come here” and attempted to hug her. She rejected the hug and he pulled her by the shoulder. She pulled away, fled on foot and made good her escape. This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the month of October 2015. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through the front or rear doors and also windows. Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robbery & Kidnapping (P15-N-236)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 014th District (Shakespeare) of two robbery incidents that occurred recently. In the first incident male black and female black offenders approached a female victim and robbed her at gunpoint. Offenders then took her in their vehicle to various locations to withdraw money from ATMs. In the second incident offenders robbed the female victim and attempted to take her into their car without success. Community Alert – 2nd District – Attempted Kidnapping (HY472641)
On October 22, 2015 at approximately 6:30 p.m. on the 3600 block of South King Drive an unknown male black subject grabbed a female juvenile and attempted to put her in his vehicle at the bus stop. The female victim was grabbed by the neck and pushed toward the car, she refused to get into the vehicle and an unknown male citizen intervened preventing the incident.
