Community Alert – 10th District – Seeking to Identify: Homicide Suspect (HY484627)
Area Central Detectives are seeking assistance in identifying a homicide suspect. On November 1, 2015 at approximately 8:34 a.m on the 4000 block of West 31st St a 23 year old male sustained a gun shot in the chest after a male offender on foot fired a weapon before fleeing in a vehicle. Community Alert – 16th District – Robberies (P15-N-257)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of robbery related incidents that have occurred in the month of November. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) used force or the threat of force by displaying a handgun and then demanding the victim’s property. Community Alert – 16th District – Wanted for Attempted Child Luring (HY492139)
On November 6, 2015 at approximately 7:36 p.m., two female juveniles were in the front of their residence on the 3400 block of North Page Avenue practicing gymnastic moves, when three unknown white males, driving a burgundy colored, 4 door SUV, drove to the front of the residence. This alert gives notice to residents in the 12th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of November 2015. In these incidents, two offenders approach the victim on the street and rob the victim of personal property by either knocking the victim down or implying he has a gun. Community Alert – 11th District – Attempted Kidnapping (HY491469)
On November 6, 2015, at approximately 8:20 a.m., a 13-year-old female was walking on the 4000 block of West Adams when an unknown offender exited a vehicle and approached the victim on foot. The offender then grabbed the victim by her left arm at which time she was able to free herself from his grasp and run to safety. The offender fled in an unknown direction. Community Alert – 8th District – Public Indecency (P15-1-254)
This alert gives notice to the residents in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of Sex Offenses-Public Indecency incidents which have occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, the offender approached the 17-year-old female victims at the lip of the alley in his vehicle (possibly a newer 4-door Black Nissan) and exposed himself.
