Juvenile Charged in Aggravated Battery of 7-Year-Old
Charges for Juvenile _Agg Batt of 7YO_A male juvenile was placed in custody after being identified in connection to an aggravated battery that occurred on the 1300 block of W. 109th Place on May 20, 2015 at approximately 3:20 p.m. During the incident the 7 year old victim sustained a gun shot wound to the shoulder while walking at that location. The victim was taken to Comers Children’s Hospital in stable condition. The juvenile offender was charged accordingly.

South Side Man Charged in Battery of 7-Month-Old Child

Three Men Charged in Robberies and Police Shooting
03MAY15Charges for Powell, Hogan, Belmont Hogan, Powell and Belmont were arrested and charged in connection with two armed robberies. The first robbery occurred at approx. 2:00 am on May 1, 2015 in the 3700 block of S. Vincennes were the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Kankakee Escapee Kamron Taylor Arrested by Chicago Police
Escapee Kamron Taylor was taken into custody by Chicago Police in the 9200 block of S. Harper Ave. On April 3, 2015, at approximately 9:00 pm, 004th District officers responded to a call of a suspicious person, as the officers approached, Taylor fled on foot. Officers apprehended him a short distance away and recovered a loaded .38 caliber revolver. Man Charged in Fatal Traffic Accident
Mathew Price was arrested after he was identified as the driver who struck and killed a 22-year-old female pedestrian. The traffic crash occurred in the 5900 block of S. Halsted St. on March 12, 2015 at approximately 1:45 p.m. Price did not stop after he struck the victim and was apprehended a short time later at 5300 S. Union. Price was charged accordingly.
