On September 14, 2016 at 8:40 a.m., on the 9600 block of S. Roadside Safety Check – 4th (South Chicago) District
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the South Chicago (4th) District at Brainard & Baltimore. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Chicago Man Charged in Deadly Fire
Hester was arrested after being identified as the offender who set fire to an apartment which resulted in the death of four people and injured two others. The fire occurred in the 8100 block of S. Three Charged with Concealment of Death In Marquette Park
Garcia, C. Camerena and I. Camarena were detained after officers responding to a call of arson in progress arrived on scene and observed the three offenders fleeing from the back of the residences on the 1400 block of W. Marquette Rd. on August 2, 2016 at approximately 9:25 pm. Further investigation revealed an unconscious child wrapped in a burnt blanket in the basement of the building.
