Man Charged in Murder of 51-Year-Old Tavern Employee
Felix Valentin was arrested in connection to a murder that occurred at approx. 11:45 pm on April 2nd, 2016. Valentin was charged after he was identified as the offender responsible for firing the fatal gunshot that struck a 51 year old male victim as he worked at a tavern on the 3600 block of North Pulaski Rd. This alert gives notice to business owners having operations in the 19th District of an increase in burglary related incidents that have occurred during the months of March and April 2016. In these incidents, offender(s) used force and unlawfully entered into restaurants after business hours. North Side Man Charged in Shooting
Ortiz,19 was arrested after being identified as the man who shot a male victim on April 10, 2016 in the 5700 Block of W. Belden at approximately 10:00 p.m. Ortiz hid behind a vehicle and discharged a handgun in the direction of three males striking a 14 year-old male in the right hand. Unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through windows or doors, and have taken electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items.
