Incident #1: On September 6, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. a student at Loyola University was walking in the 6500 block of N. Kenmore when she felt somebody touch her buttocks from behind. This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of garage burglaries that have occurred in the month of September 2016. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the side door(s) or entering the garages through unlocked doors. Supt. Johnson Announces Body Camera Expansion throughout CPD
CHICAGO – Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson announced today the expansion of officer-worn body cameras throughout the entire Department over the next two years. DUI Saturation Patrol – 12th (Near West) District
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Near West (12th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the South Chicago (4th) District at Brainard & Baltimore. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Steven Thompson and Sadarian Washington were arrested after they were identified as the men who committed a strong arm robbery against a 23 year old female in the 800 block of W.
