This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of garage burglaries that have occurred in the month of September 2016. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the side door(s) or entering the garages through unlocked doors. Offender(s) then removed construction tools, lawn equipment, air compressors, fishing equipment and USC.
