This alert gives notice to residents in the 11th District (Area North) of an increase in robbery related incidents that have occurred during the months of January and February 2015. In these incidents, offender’s utilized a black /dark van and took by force and the threat of force by displaying a handgun, and taking cell phones, USC and personal property i.e. purse containing identification and credit cards from citizens on the street. Business Alert – 14th District – Commercial Robberies (P15-N-041)
About the Crime: This alert gives notice to businesses in the 14th (Shakespeare) District of Robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of January. In these incidents, one or two male blacks enter small retail businesses wearing black skull caps, black joggers or pants display a blue or black steel handgun and demand property. This alert gives notice to residents in the 025th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the late morning/ early evening hours. In these incidents, two offenders approach the victims; demand their property, and forcibly take items from victims. In one incident, the offenders imply they have a gun. Community Alert – 15th District – Robberies (P15-N-038)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of January 2015. In these incidents, unknown male offender(s), armed with a handgun, either approach victim(s) on foot or exit out of a vehicle and rob victim of their property. Offenders then flee in the awaiting vehicle, including a maroon mini-van, a blue Ford Windstar van, a light green four-door Mitsubishi and a green four-foor Oldsmobile.…

Community Alert – 14th District – Robberies (P15-N-037)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 14th District (Shakespeare) of two Strong Arm Robberies that have occurred in the month of January 2015. In both of these robberies, the female victim was approached from behind and engaged in conversation by an unknown male offender, after which the offender took various personal items from the victim. Community Alert – 25th District – Robberies (P15-N-036)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 25th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the late evening/early morning hours. In these incidents, two to three offenders approach the victim, and engage the victim in conversation. The offenders then demand property, and forcibly take property from the victims by reaching into their pockets. In two incidents the offender(s) were armed with a knife. Community Alert – 11th District – Residential Burglary (P15-N-034)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two burglaries that occurred on January 26, 2015. In both of these incidents, unknown offender(s) made entry into apartments and took property. In one incident, the offender made entry through a back door and took a video game system and jewelry. Community Alert – 16th District – Residential Burglary (P15-N-032)
This alert gives notice to residents of the 16th District about two burglaries. In each incident, the offender forced open the front door to make entry. The victims who were home heard the loud noise and confronted the offender. The offender then yelled “Fire, Fire!” to distract the victims. He then fled the residence and drove off with another offender in a dark colored SUV, possibly a 4-door Ford F-150 with a chrome grill. Click here for more details regarding…
