A 43 year old female was attacked by an unknown male offender while she was exercising along a walking path near 1755 N. 9th District Officers Makes a Split Second Decision to Save a Child’s Life
September 28, 2015 – 009th District 965B – “I’m going to County then…” A split second decision that Superintendent McCarthy thinks may have saved the life of an eleven month old child. A Sergeant, 965,called in “loud reports” in the area near 53rd and Aberdeen. Many 009th District and city-wide units responded to the scene. Bridgeport Man Charged with Sexual Abuse on CTA Property
Xavier Rodriguez was arrested after he was identified as the man who sexually abused a 22 year old female on CTA property. This incident occurred on September 25, 2015, at 3:40 a.m. in the 900 block of W. Fullerton Ave. Rodriguez grabbed the 22 year old female from behind and sexually abused her. Rodriguez fled the scene when the victim screamed for help. The victim refused medical attention and Rodriguez was charged accordingly. No further details are available at this…

Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Criminal Sexual Assault (HY436229)
On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at approximately 10:12 a.m., on the 5000 block of S. Kostner Avenue, a 35-yr-old female was approached by a male White Hispanic offender driving an unidentified SUV, dark blue in color. The offender grabbed the victim and forced her into his vehicle.
