Man Charged in Domestic Related Stabbing
Victor Rico was arrested after he was identified as the man who stabbed a female juvenile in a domestic related incident. This occurred on the 2700 block of S. Trumbull Ave on February 5, 2016 at approximately 3:34 a.m. The juvenile victim was taken in serious condition with several lacerations to her head to Mt Sinai Hospital. Community Alert – 9th District – Ruse Burglary (P16-1-040)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 9th District (Deering) of ruse burglary incidents which have occurred during the months of January and February. Suspect(s) drove around residential neighborhoods looking for elderly persons outside their home or in their homes. Once located, the offender(s) approached a potential victim and claimed to be utility workers, city employees, cable TV technicians or contractors. This alert gives notice to residents of the 009th District (Deering) of a Criminal Sexual Abuse that occurred on the 2400 block of W. 55th Street on the date of January 24th, at approximately 6:40 p.m. A female victim walked west bound on 55th Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown male offender. 18 Jan 16 Sexual Abuse 9th District _HZ115040_ On Thursday, January 14, 2016 at approximately 7:50 a.m. a juvenile female victim and her friend, were walking to the Evergreen School Northbound in the area of Paulina St. and 36th St. A male Hispanic who was walking Northbound on same side of Paulina St. approached the victim and her friend on foot and grabbed the victim in a sexually abusive manner and continued to walk Southbound on Paulina.
