About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 9th District of a recent Criminal

Sexual Abuse Incident.

• On Thursday, January 14, 2016 at approximately 7:50 a.m. a juvenile female victim and her friend, were walking to the Evergreen School Northbound in the area of Paulina St. and 36th St. A male Hispanic who was walking Northbound on same side of Paulina St. approached the victim and her friend on foot and grabbed the victim in a sexually abusive manner and continued to walk Southbound on Paulina.

Offender:

• Male Hispanic 35 – 40 years of age, 5’07 to 509″ tall, 170lbs, Dark

complexion, Black hair, Short spiky hair (a lot of gel), Round chubby face with

acne scars

• Black Sunglasses, Green Scarf, Light brown or Khaki Knee Length Coat,

Dark Shiny Dress Shoes.

What you can do:

• Always be aware of your surroundings

• When possible, walk in pairs

• Report suspicious activity immediately

• Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limp, acne, teeth,

etc…)

• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police

• If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information

• Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene when possible
