This alert gives notice to residents of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery at a bank on the 200 block West 83rd Street at approximately 1:15 a.m. The offender approached the victim from behind in the ATM drive up, displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ money. Business Alert – 6th District – Wanted for Robbery (HZ297790)
This alert gives notice to residents of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery around the vicinity of the 1700 block of West 79th Street. In this incident, two male blacks entered the business, displayed a firearm, and announced a robbery. Third Suspect Charged in Tyshawn Lee’s Murder
Edwards was arrested on May 14, 2016 by the Danville Police Department after a traffic stop revealed the offender had an active murder warrant originating in Chicago. Kevin Edwards, Dwight Boone-Doty, and Corey Morgan are charged with luring nine year old Tyshawn Lee into an alley and executing him in the 8000 Block of South Damen on November 2, 2016. With all three offenders facing felony charges, the case is now closed. No further information is available at this time.…

Offender Charged with Three Counts of Aggravated Battery
Pierre Stokes was arrested after he was identified as the person who fired a weapon multiple times striking three victims. This incident occurred on March 8, 2016 at approximately 5:40 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Ashland Avenue.
