Community Alert – 2nd District -Robberies (P15-1-078)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 2rd District (Wentworth) of robbery related incidents have occurred during the month of March 2015. In these incidents, three offenders approached victims and demanded/forcibly removed personal property before fleeing area. Community Alert – 2nd District – Attempted Luring (HZ170299)
On March 1, 2016 at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the 300 block of East 35th Street, an unknown male attempted to lure a 14-year-old female into a vehicle while she waited at a bus stop on her way to school. The male offered the female a ride, exited the vehicle and attempted to grab her by the arm. The female was able to pull away and board a bus. Click here for more info

Community Alert – 2nd District – Attempted Robbery/Green Line Station (P16-1-042)
On January 29, 2016 at approximately 7:49 PM, a female victim exited the CTA Green Line train station at 43rd St. Three offenders followed the victim from the train. While within the CTA station, one of the offenders struck the victim and attempted to take her cell phone with negative results. The offenders fled in an unknown direction. In both instances, two offenders approached victims on the sidewalk, demanded property and took it by force. This alert gives notice to residents in the 2nd District (Wentworth) of robbery related incidents have occurred during the month of January 2016. In one instance, the offenders followed the victim on the CTA and punched the victim about the face and head in an attempt to take her cellphone.
