DUI Saturation Patrol – 1st (Central) & 18th (Near North) Districts
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Central (1st) and Near North (18th) Districts this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28th, 2017. The purpose of this program is to saturate a pre-designated area with roving police officers that continually monitor vehicular traffic for signs of impaired driving. Juvenile Charged in CTA Pink Line Robberies
A 16-year-old female juvenile was arrested after she was identified as the offender who robbed two female victims while riding the Pink Line train. On May 4, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m., the offender approached a female victim, 19-years-old, and took the victim’s mobile phone from the victim’s hand and fled the scene.
