Community Alert – 4th District – Armed Robbery (P16-2-038)
This alert gives notice to residents of the South Chicago (4th) District of three recent robberies which occurred in close proximity to one another and involved a similarly described offender. This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the months of April and May 2016. In these incidents, an unknown offender exits out the passenger side of an unknown grey vehicle, possibly a BMW, displays a handgun and robs the victim of their cell phones and currency. In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry into a residence and take property from therein. Community Alert – 16th District – Garage Burglaries (P16-N-090)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 016th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that have occurred in the month of April 2016 within the boundaries of Elston to Montrose and Cicero to Central. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead or side door and windows.
