Community Alert – 17th District – Attempted Child Luring (HZ241336)
On April 26, 2016, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a female juvenile was walking home from school (Roosevelt H.S.). As the juvenile reached the 4500 block of North St. Louis Avenue, the driver of a White Jeep vehicle pulled up alongside the curb next to the juvenile. Community Alert – 24th District – Attempted Child Luring (HZ233827)
On April 20, 2016, at approximately 6:35 p.m., two juveniles walked past the 6700 block of North Whipple (Chippewa Park) to retrieve a dodge ball that was between fences. An unknown female in the passenger seat of a black SUV type vehicle rolled down her window and said “hi kids, come over here, I have some candy”. This alarmed the juveniles who walked away quickly. Community Alert – 16th District – Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (HZ237605)
On April 23, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m. an unknown male offender approached an 11-year-old male victim as he was riding his bicycle with other children around the area of the 4800 block of West Cornelia Ave. The offender grabbed the victim and inappropriately touched him and stated “I thought you were my girlfriend.” Several citizens came out to help the children and the offender fled northbound on Cicero Ave. Click here for more info

Community Alert – 11th District – Armed Robberies (P16-N-084)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 11th District of two armed robberies that have occurred in the month of April 2016. In both incidents, a group of offenders displayed handguns and struck the victims with fists and removed items from the victims’ pockets. For More Information Click Here
