Community Alert – 11th District – CTA Related Robberies (P16-N-185)
This alert gives notice of recent Robberies that have occurred in the 011th District on CTA trains and at CTA train stations. In three of the incidents, the victims were riding on the train and the offenders struck the victims with fists and took property from their pockets. Community Alert – 10th & 12th Districts – Seeking to Identify: Arson (HZ436136)
Arson Section Detectives are seeking to identify or speak to the above individual regarding a series of arsons that occurred in the alleyways of the 12th and 10th Districts. Available materials contained within garbage cans and bulk refuse items were ignited. Six fires occurred on September 16, 2016 at approximately 2:45 a.m. to 3:20am. Community Alert – 3rd District – Attempted Criminal Sexual Assault (HZ445751)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District a recent Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault incident. On Thursday, September 24, 2016 at approximately 9:45 P.M., a female victim was jogging northbound on the lakefront trail, in the area of South Shore Dr. and 68th Street. A male ran up behind the victim, grabbed and then shoved the victim into a fence while attempting to sexually assault her. Offender fled westbound on 68th Street. click here for more info
