On Monday, October 3, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 31st St., two unknown offenders attempted to lure a (10-year-old) male. Community Alert – 3rd District – Robberies (P16-1-242)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents in the vicinity of Cottage Grove Avenue to Greenwood Avenue and 61st Street to 67th Street. In these incidents, the offender(s) approaches the victims, displays a handgun and announces a robbery. The offender(s) flees with the victims personal belongings.
