This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District a recent Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault incident. On Thursday, September 24, 2016 at approximately 9:45 P.M., a female victim was jogging northbound on the lakefront trail, in the area of South Shore Dr. and 68th Street. A male ran up behind the victim, grabbed and then shoved the victim into a fence while attempting to sexually assault her. Offender fled westbound on 68th Street.
