As part of our ongoing mission to grow trust within the communities we serve, CPD invites the community to review and provide feedback on the revised draft of the Taser Use Incidents and Control Devices and Instruments directives beginning on November 18, 2025 through December 8, 2025. These drafts only reflect CPD’s pending transition to the Taser 10 model. Feedback resulting from the Use of Force community engagements during the Summer of 2025 are continuing to be reviewed and will be incorporated in future drafts that will also be posted for public feedback. After the comment period concludes, CPD will review the additional feedback received to guide future revisions to the drafts. CPD will consider your comments before finalizing the directive.
