Thank you for visiting the Chicago Police Department’s public comment forum for the Processing of Minors and Juveniles Under Department Control policy. This directive sets forth Department procedures for processing juvenile arrestees. The policy was revised pursuant to paragraphs 34 through 36 of the Consent Decree.
As part of our ongoing mission to grow trust within the communities we serve, CPD took comments from the public on the Processing of Minors and Juveniles Under Department Control policy for 15 days beginning on February 10, 2020. The comment period is now closed. CPD will consider all of your comments before finalizing the directive. Below you will find the draft of the revised Chicago Police Department Department Vehicles policy. For reference, click here to review the existing policy.
