This alert gives notice to residents of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery at a bank on the 200 block West 83rd Street at approximately 1:15 a.m. The offender approached the victim from behind in the ATM drive up, displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ money. Business Alert – 6th District – Wanted for Robbery (HZ297790)
This alert gives notice to residents of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery around the vicinity of the 1700 block of West 79th Street. In this incident, two male blacks entered the business, displayed a firearm, and announced a robbery. Off-Duty CPD Detective and CFD Firefighter Save 5 from Capsized Boat in Lake Michigan
Off Duty Area South Detective Jackson and CFD Fireman Strong were enjoying the beautiful summer weather on June 10, 2016 near the 6500 block of South Lakeshore Dr. at approximately 8:20 p.m. The two were riding their jet skis when then they came across a capsized 16 foot speed boat and 4 people in the 60 degree water.
