Two Charged in North Side Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer
The above offenders were arrested after being positively identified as the individuals who assaulted an off-duty Officer. Anthony Castaneda struck the 37-year-old male victim multiple times in the upper body with a baseball bat causing injuries to the Officer on March 19, 2016 at approximately 10:30 P.M. in the 2600 block of N. Man Charged in North Lawndale Shooting
Dwon Wright,18 was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot three people in the 3700 block of W. Grenshaw Street. This incident occurred on March 18, 2016 at approximately 3:15 p.m. Three male victims were driving in a grey sedan when the offender fired shots at their vehicle. On February 16, 2016 at approximately 5:18 p.m., two pedestrians, a male and a female, both 16-years-old, were struck by a vehicle as they were crossing the street in the 5300 Block of W. Grand Avenue. The victims were struck by an unknown vehicle. is described as a dark green in color, SUV, (possible Jeep Rubicon with spare tire on back and “Rubicon” printed on hood).
