Community Alert – 16th District – Garage Burglaries (P17-N-063)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that have occurred in the months of February and March 2017. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gain entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead or side doors. Offender(s) then take construction tools, air compressors, bicycles, and/or lawn equipment.

Business Alert – 14th, 16th, 17th & 25th Districts – Armed Commercial Armed Robberies (P17-N-057)
UPDATE: Photos have been added of the wanted offenders and vehicle used 04 Mar 17-Business Alert – Area North -Commercial Armed Robberies (P17-n-057ba (1)) This alert gives notice of multiple Armed Robberies that occurred at businesses in the 014th, 016th, 017th and 025th Districts on March 4th, 2017. Two offenders entered the businesses, displayed a handgun and took money. The offenders fled the scene in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle.

North Side Woman Charged in Illegal Firearms Purchasing
Falcon was placed into custody after it was discovered that on April 26, 2016 she falsely reported a burglary in the 2100 block of N. Spaulding Ave., and reported that firearms were stolen during the incident. Area North Detectives and ATF Task Force members determined that Falcon illegally purchased handguns using false information on January 19, 2016 which were then delivered to a convicted felon.
