DUI Saturation Patrol – 11th (Harrison) District
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Harrison (011th) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 6th, 2017. The purpose of this program is to saturate a pre-designated area with roving police officers that continually monitor vehicular traffic for signs of impaired driving. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gain entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead or side door. Offender(s) also gain entry through unlocked doors. On July 28, 2017 at 3:27 a.m., a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking in the street in the 3500 block W. Congress Parkway. The 42-year-old man was struck by an unknown vehicle matching the description below. 26 July 17 – Comm Alert – Armed Robberies in 014th Dist Four robberies have occurred in the 014th District between 3:30 a.m. on Saturday July 8, 2017 and 10:55 p.m. on Sunday July 9, 2017.
