This alert gives notice to the residents in the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that have occurred in the month of July 2017. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gain entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead or side door. Offender(s) also gain entry through unlocked doors. Offender(s) then take construction tools, bicycles and vehicle wheels.
