Community Alert – 19th District – Robberies (P15-N-197)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 19th (Town Hall) District of robberies that occurred on August 29 & 31, 2015. In these incidents, offenders approached the victims on the street and used force to rob them. In two incidents, the victims were attacked from behind. Community Alert – 16th District – Residential Burglaries (P15-N-196)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential burglaries that have occurred in the month of August 2015. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through front or rear doors, and have taken electronics, jewelry, cash, and other miscellaneous items. Business Alert – 24th District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-194)
Commercial Burglaries have occurred in the 24th (Rogers Park) District during which unknown offender(s) have pried open the rear or side doors of businesses to gain entry. The offenders(s) then pried open cash registers and removed cash. Click here for more information on the Business Alert

Community Alert – 15th District – Armed Robberies (P15-N-192)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in Armed Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of July and August. Business Alert – 17th District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-190)
There have been two recent commercial burglaries of restaurants in the 17th District. In these cases, an unknown offender shattered the front glass door with a hammer, and entered the restaurants. In one incident the offender took the cash register but in the incident that occurred on August 18th, the offender noticed the cash register drawer was open and empty, and did not take any property. Community Alert – 14th District – Attempted Robbery (P15-N-189)
Robberies in which a group of several offenders attempt to rob their victims are occurring in the 14th District. In two cases a female offender attempts to grab the victim’s cell phone by force and demands the victim surrender it, while the male offenders surround the victim. Business Alert – 11th District – Robberies (P15-N-187)
This alert gives notice to citizens and business owners residing in the 011th District (North) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of August. Community Alert – 17th District – Robbery (P15-N-186)
Three Strong Arm Robbery incidents have occurred in the 17th District. In these cases, a Male Hispanic offender approaches a female victim, demands her chain/necklace and grabs the necklace from the victim’s neck. Click here for more information on the Community Alert

Roadside Safety Check – 8th (Chicago Lawn) District
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Chicago Lawn (8th) District at 6135 S. Western Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21st, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015. Click here for more information
