Offender Charged with Criminal Sexual Assault and Armed Robbery
Milton Anderson was arrested and charged in connection to a sexual assault and armed robbery that occurred on the 1400 block of W. Jarvis on December 19, 2015, at approximately 4:40 a.m. Anderson grabbed a 25 year-old female victim from behind as she was walking on the sidewalk. Anderson then displayed a handgun and forced the victim to a secluded area where he robbed and sexually assaulted her. This alert gives notice to residents in the 11th District (Harrison) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the months of November and December 2015. In these incidents, an offender used force and the threat of force by displaying a handgun, and taking cell phones, wallets with identification and credit cards. This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of December 2015. Business Alert – 14th District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-279)
Burglaries in which the offender targeted high-end clothing stores have occurred in the 014th District (Shakespeare) on the 1700 block of North Damen Avenue from November 21 – December 3, 2015. The offenders made forcible entry to a clothing store and removed a large quantity of merchandise. A cash register was also stolen. The burglaries were captured on surveillance video. Community Alert – 10th District – Criminal Sexual Abuse (HY516998)
On Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at approximately 3:45 PM, a juvenile male was walking to an after school program when an unknown male approached him in the 3500 block of Ogden Ave. The unknown male then inappropriately grabbed the juvenile’s genitals and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
