Strategic Anti-Violence Mission Results in Arrest of One of the 010th District’s Most Dangerous Offenders
Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of 24th and Rockwell on November 12, 2016 at approx. 01:00am. Officers observed a car speeding away from the scene. Officers curbed the offender’s vehicle, while assisting units located a victim. The victim stated he was shot at while parking his vehicle. The victim did not sustain any injuries and was able to positively identify the offender. Reveles was charged accordingly. Click here for more info

On Monday, October 3, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 31st St., two unknown offenders attempted to lure a (10-year-old) male. This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents in the vicinity of Cottage Grove Avenue to Greenwood Avenue and 61st Street to 67th Street. In these incidents, the offender(s) approaches the victims, displays a handgun and announces a robbery. The offender(s) flees with the victims personal belongings. Community Alert – 10th & 12th Districts – Seeking to Identify: Arson (HZ436136)
Arson Section Detectives are seeking to identify or speak to the above individual regarding a series of arsons that occurred in the alleyways of the 12th and 10th Districts. Available materials contained within garbage cans and bulk refuse items were ignited. Six fires occurred on September 16, 2016 at approximately 2:45 a.m. to 3:20am.
