Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Kidnapping (HY148820)
On Thursday, February 12, 2015 at approximately 8:15 A.M. in the area of 5700 S Keeler Ave a male student was approached by a male white between the ages of 55-60. This person attempted to grab the male student on his way to school. The student was able to get free and run home. Click here for more information.

Man Extradited from Florida for 2014 Murder
Anthony Guedes was extradited from Kissimmee, Florida after he was identified as one of the people who participated in the murder of a 24 year old male on September 5, 2014 in the 6200 block of S. Kilpatrick Ave. at approximately 5:11 p.m. The victim was found deceased inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the head.
