Four Charged in Garfield Ridge Stabbing/Armed Robbery
All offenders were placed into custody and charged as the individuals involved in the armed robbery on the 6900 blk of W. Archer Ave. at approximately 10:02 p.m. on June 04, 2016. In this incident offenders attempted to take the victim’s cell phone; when the victim refused to give up her cell phone an offender stabbed her in the abdomen. In these incidents, the offender(s) place an order from local food establishments and attempt to pay with counterfeit USC. The offender(s), armed with a handgun, take food and USC from the victims. Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Child Luring (HZ262978)
On May 12, 2016 between approximately 6:30 A.M. and 8:00 A.M., on the 7800 block of S. Kedzie Ave, an unknown male on foot attempted to lure an adolescent female as she walked to school. When ignored, the offender attempted to grab the victim at which time she ran to a nearby alley.
