Chicago Lawn Man Charged in Lake View Robbery
Officers responded to a “holding citizen” call in the 3100 block of N Southport on May 18, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Jaleel Johnson was observed following a 21 year old female into the vestibule of her building. North Side Burglary Offender Charged with Multiple Counts
Marcus Jones was arrested on May 7th, 2015 at approximately 1:37 a.m. in the 1500 Block of W. Morse Ave. Officers responded to a burglary in progress call and located Marcus Jones inside. Jones had a shopping cart filled with various pieces of office equipment and was in possession of a pry bar. Jones was arrested and charged accordingly. Area North Detectives are for assistance from the public to help identify the above subject. He is wanted in connection with burglaries from several condo buildings. Once the suspect gained access to the building and/or parking garage, he would burglaries vehicles and take other items that include mail, and bicycles. Business Alert – 19th District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-080)
There have been three recent overnight burglaries to retail stores in District 019. In two of these cases, an unknown offender shattered the front glass door/window of a business. Indian Head Park Man Charged with Home Invasion
Joseph Benson, 23, was arrested and charged after an incident which occurred on March 7, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m. on the 2600 block of N. Mildred Avenue. Police responded to a disturbance and arrived to discover the offender had forced his way into a residence and attacked a 41-year-old male victim while purporting to be a police officer.
