Business Alert – 19th District – Armed Robberies (P17-N-124)
30 May 17 Armed Robbery 19th District (P17-N-124) This alert gives notice to three robberies of businesses at locations within the 19th District. In these robberies, one male offender entered the business and ordered items for purchase, then proceeded to imply he had a weapon then took items from victims. In the most recent incident the offender dragged the sales clerk behind the counter while holding a knife, proceeding to take liquor and cigarettes before fleeing.

DUI Saturation Patrol – 20th (Lincoln) District
13 MAY 17 DUI 20th District The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Lincoln (20th) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 and end at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Community Alert – 19th District – Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault (JA245622)
On April 30, 2017 at approximately 9:10 p.m. a 31-year-old female was walking southbound on the 4300 block of North Campbell when she was approached from behind by an unknown offender, described as a male black wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. The offender produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The offender then ordered the victim into the alley on the 2400 block of W. Pensacola where he sexually assaulted her. In these burglaries, businesses have been targeted by the offender(s) after the business has closed for the day. The offender(s) smashed the glass door, gained entry, and took cash from the register and cigarettes from the business.

In these robberies, a group of offenders approached the victims on the street, and all of the offenders began to punch and kick the victims, knocking them to the ground.
